“Not Just A Cigar”

Nudity is a semiotic shortcut in visual storytelling.
If a woman is naked, it’s because she’s desirable. The camera’s ‘male gaze’ (slow pans/tilts across her desirable bits) will reinforce this.
Sometimes if a man is naked, it’s because he’s desirable, too. The camera’s male gaze and the presence of a diet coke can will help us to realise this.
Usually, however, if a man is naked, it is because it’s funny. LOL – man-bits!

The first sketches I was doing for this challenge were a little more LOL NUDE MAN than I felt comfortable. The theme is romance, after all.

And if I was Gambit, and I had access to the Danger Room, I’d probably use it to romance Wolvie.
